Mercator trading chain will keep investing in Serbia PDF Print E-mail

Slovenian trading chain Mercator has announced that it will invest 30 million euros in Serbia this year, which is on the same level like the last year. While others are laying off their workers, Mercator is planing to hire additional 350 workers. Mercator generated income over 454 mil. euros, which is 32% percent more than in 2007., and in 2009. they expect income increase of 3%. Besides existing shopping centers company is planing to open two more in Krusevac and Sombor. Mercator's market share in Serbia is 8% and they are planing to reach 12% in year 2012.
